Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The initial inspiration came from shadows reflected on grass. Months later she devised a process that didn't make the subject on canvas as an unflat image. When the objects are alive or perishable, such as fruit and even people, they become a painting of themselves. The ephemeral nature of her painterly style is obvious and what survives of Alexa Meade's work is the photographs. Photography and painting techniques closely synchronized, which results in a two-dimensional, flat area that is trompe l'oeil. Certain elements of the picture like hair and eyes, display the three-dimensional dimension. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models into the environment around them. It allows them to interact with this world she has created. The result is a blurring of the lines between painting, photography and installation.
